Our Auxiliary Rangefinder (ARF) is an invaluable accessory, providing the user with the precise distance to the intended subject. The bright rangefinder patch is easily seen through the large viewing window thanks to high quality optics and the latest optical coatings. The body is CNC machined from a single piece of high quality aluminum, and hard anodized in a tough satin black finish. Two models are available, with precisely calibrated distance scales:
(ARF-M) 1 meter to infinity
(ARF-F) 3 feet to infinity
While our ARF is designed and manufactured to the highest standards, rangefinders are notorious for getting knocked out of alignment if treated roughly... so we designed our ARF to be easily re-calibrated by the user with no tools required.
1. looking through the viewing window at your intended subject.
2.Turn the Distance Wheel until the two images appear as one.
3. Observe the distance indicated on the Distance Wheel.
4. Match the distance shown on the Distance Wheel to you Helical Focus Mount
