    Description

Antique Henry J. Green 564 Self Recording Thermometer (Thermograph) Meteorology Instrument.
This is a vintage meteorological instrument that is over 100 years old. This thermograph was manufactured by Henry J. Green of Brooklyn N. Y. likely around 1910. It shows up in the 1915 catalog of scientific  instruments that was distributed by Green at that time.
It appears to be working, the recording pen tracks the temperature accurately, and upon winding the clock, it can be heard to be ticking. Although it appears to be in working order, a restoration, particularly for the clock drum would likely be advisable.
All original, the instrument is in remarkable condition. The paint has a couple of chips and dings, but overall is very good to excellent. All the glass is intact, the mechanism is free and doesn't bind. The bi-metal strip responds to temperature changes. This is a functioning self recording thermometer from over a century ago.
Shipped via UPS Ground. The package weight will be around 10lbs.
